When beginning our building design, our group decided to do a little thing we call "Form-Storm". We each started a drawing of what we thought the building should look like and after 1-2 minutes we passed it to the next person, until we each had drawn a little on each one. The three above were the most influential to our design process.
This is a conceptual plan of how the space in our building will be laid out. There is an emphasis on a central core with two separate wings containing different program spaces.
We began exploring with how the exterior of this building will appear. Going back to our goals, we want to emphasis the central core, create a gestural movement for those driving by or pedestrians on the site, while also having an innovative use of materials
These perspectives illustrate our final idea for this portion of the project. We want to continue to develop the exterior materials and park space but we are excited as to where this project is headed!
